Shillong, Oct 18: Meghalaya won their third match of the Women’s Senior T20 Trophy in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, yesterday.

Assam won the toss and opted to bat first in a match that was restricted to six overs a side.

Assam were restricted to 37/5 and Meghalaya chased this down with two deliveries to spare for the loss of two wickets.

Debasmita Dutta took 2/7 and Vandana Mahajan 1/12 for Meghalaya with the ball, while Dutta and Saee Purandare had the joint top score with 14 runs each in the chase.

Meghalaya had lost their opening fixture to Jharkhand by nine wickets on 14th October and by six wickets to Madhya Pradesh the following day.
