Shillong, Dec 19: Druma Sandruma were the big winners in the Meghalaya State League group matches on Tuesday, beating Ampati SC 4-1 in Group D in Ampati.
The afternoon fixture saw A’tong Matgrik pip Warima 2-1.
The big surprise of the day, however, took place in Mairang where mighty Shillong club Malki were held to a goalless draw by Mawten in Group C. Earlier Pyndengrei were one-goal victors over Madan Bynther.
Finally, in Group A in Jowai, Raliang bagged their second consecutive victory of the tournament with a 1-0 win over Umkiang, while Niaw Wasa drew 0-0 with Jalaphet Lumsachram.
Groups A, C and D will take a break tomorrow when the only teams involved will be from Group B.
In the first game Pyndem Umbri will take on Langsning at 11:00am, while Shilliang Umdoh go up against Rangdajied United at 2:00pm.
