Shillong, May 19: The Shillong Open Shooting Championship held its closing ceremony here today.
There were several categories of events, from pistols to rifles, for men and women over the two-day event. The championship was held at the Assam Regimental Centre’s shooting range, while the prize distribution ceremony was held at the Meghalaya Police Shooting Club.
The chief guest on the final day was Director General of Police R Chandranathan, who also distributed the prizes along with Superintendents of Police Claudia Lyngwa and Davis NR Marak (who also took part in the competition) and Shooting Association of Meghalaya President John Kharshiing.
