Shillong, Jun 8: Gorkha Pathshala HSS won the final of the U-19 Inter-District Cricket School Champions Trophy 2019 at Mawkdok Ground today over Sib Singh Memorial Government Higher Secondary School by 17 runs.
The match was reduced to seven overs a side due to rain.
Gorkha Pathshala won the toss and chose to bat first, making 80/2. N Karan Jaiswal top-scored with a 26-ball innings of 42. Allan Donald Marngar took 1/11 for Sib Singh Memorial.
In response Sib Singh Memorial lost too many wickets and were restricted to 63/6 in their allotted overs. Dabiangbor Marwein was the top scorer with 23 off 15 deliveries, while A Ram bagged 3/9 for Gorkha Pathshala.
