Shillong, Jun 18: Marbisu claimed their second consecutive (and third overall) victory in the U-18 Shillong Premier League with a 4-0 triumph over Ryntih at Third Ground, Polo, today.
Lumlang Hujon scored his second straight brace of goals (57′, 66′) to move to six for the season, taking him clear at the top of the goal scoring chart. He has now scored in four of his side’s six games.
Nehbor Ryntathiang got things going for Marbisu, netting the first goal in the 35th minute before Steven Lyngdoh Kynshi doubled the lead in the 45th minute.
Hujon then returned in the second half to record his double.
Marbisu now join five other teams on 10 points, but that might change after the 4PM fixture when Mawkhar (one of those on 10 points) face bottom side Lawsohtun at the JN Stadium.
