Shillong, Jun 26: Shillong Lajong won their sixth match on the trot in the U-18 Shillong Premier League at the JN Stadium, Polo, today.
Amon Lepcha scored a brace (25′, 60′) to move to four goals for the season, while Gladdy Kharbuli scored in the 73rd minute.
This was the fifth time that Lajong have kept a clean sheet, tying them with Mawkhar.
Lajong, Mawkhar and Langsning all have 19 points now, though SLFC have a game in hand.
There was another match scheduled for today between Nangkiew Irat and Lawsohtun at Third Ground, but TSR hasn’t received the result of that match was cancelled because of too much standing water on the pitch.
Tomorrow, Smit are scheduled to take on Nongrim Hills at 1PM, while Rangdajied United are scheduled to face Laban at 3:45PM. Both matches will be held at Third Ground.
