Shillong, Jul 4: Mawtawar and Pohkseh won their respective matches in Group B of the Third Division today, while the game between Young XI and Mawshbuit ended in a 3-3 draw at Second Ground.
Mawtawar won 1-0 in the first match of the day over Nongkseh. F Lyngdoh scored the lone goal in the 61st minute.
In the second game the lead swung between Young XI and Mawshbuit in a six-goal draw. Young XI scored through J Nongbri (8′, 25′) and F Suting (64′), while Mawshbuit scored through I Mawrie (17′), S Dkhar (32′) and C Nongdhar (43′).
And in the third and final fixture Pohkseh won through in convincing style, beating Mawnianglah 5-0 with goals from N Lyngkhoi (23′), P Kharkongor (43′, 48′) and B Nongbet (45′, 60′)
