Shillong, Aug 8: Thirty-two karatekas of the All Meghalaya Karate-do Association are in New Delhi to take part in the All India Independence Cup International Karate Championship, which will begin tomorrow.
The state contingent is being led by Arjun Sewa, Linza Fenny Syiem and Mingson Rymbai. The championship will run until Sunday.
The names of the karatekas are: Banteinam Pdahsiej, Teresa Basumatary, Angel Basumatary, Rodrick Syiem, Pratima Thapa, Bashanlang Pohlong, Roger V Kharbamon, Dorothy Marbaniang, Anisha Wahlang, Betcynia Mawlein, Felicia Nongdhar, Cedric Cliff Wahlang, Wandahunshisha Mawblei, Saphibanri Kharlyngdoh, Edahunsha Challam, Bhawanchwadame L Mawphlang, Naribasuk Bareh, Eva Gracia Mary Kharumnuid, Cheltis Shylla, Iohbor Mylliempdah, Jeremaiah Chanmeki Myrthong, Emika Deimaia Myrthong, Daiarisa Nongrum, Tingnam B Mukhim, Carenia Rapthap, Jasper D Pdang, Rebeka Nongspung, Davyson Kharkongor, Freddy B Syiem and Daiaihunlin Pde.
