Shillong, Sep 3: Rangdajied United and Nangkiew Irat played out a 0-0 draw in the Shillong Premier League at the JN Stadium here today.
This was the second goalless draw for both sides.
Nangkiew appeared hungrier for the win, especially in the second half when Roikhih Nongtdu and Shano Tariang had a few look-ins. Nangkiew were disadvantaged, however, when the injured Damehun Syih had to come off the pitch in the first half.
Padam Chettri had a good day under the bar for Rangdajied, while his opposite number, Monlang Shylla had less to do but was equally adept in his keeping duties.
Probably Rangdajied’s best chance came in the 56th minute when Dawanchwa Challam made a neat chip into the box. Raikutshisha Buam got away from his marker, but his header went over the bar.
Both sides have five points after three games.
Tomorrow Ryntih are scheduled to face Nongrim Hills at 3:30PM.
