Shillong, Dec 5: Kerala Blasters’ forward Shaiborlang Kharpan has been loaned out to new I-League side Sudeva FC, it was announced today.
It was hoped that Kharpan, after three seasons at KBFC’s development side, would finally get to make an Indian Super League appearance, but it was not to be.
Naorem Mahesh Singh, who played for Shillong Lajong till the end of last season, has also been loaned to Sudeva by the ISL side.
Sudeva have earned a place in the I-League from this year onwards via direct entry. The I-League will begin early next year.
The Blasters are currently ninth in the 11-team ISL standings after only securing two points from three matches.
