Shillong, Oct 19: The Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division will begin on 1st November.
In 2019, that is before the interruption brought on by Covid-19 in 2020, there were 24 teams split between four groups. Rynjah and Nongrah had secured promotion to this edition of the Third Division from 2019’s Fourth Division.
Registration of up to 25 players by each club must be completed by 26th October. The clubs must also submit Covid-19 vaccination certificates for their players.
“Registration of a player without a copy of their vaccination certificate will not be allowed,” the SSA said in a notification dated at the end of September but seen by TSR only today.
