Shillong, Oct 19: Tynring marched into the semifinals of the Shillong Sports Association’s Fourth Division today with a 2-1 victory over Madan SCC at Polo Ground here.
This was Tynring’s third win in three games and they thus finished the group stage as undisputed Group B toppers.
Arborlang Nongpluh (16′) and Dakerskhem Mynsong (27′) scored for Tynring, with Madan SCC pulling one back through Dawyo Shadap (32′).
The second fixture of the day saw Madanrting and Laitkroh play out a 1-1 draw. Bright Zou (17′) scored for Madanrting, while Obelson Nongkynrih (33′) equalised for Laitkroh.
After three rounds, Tynring are first with nine points, Laitkroh second with four, Madanrting two and Madan SCC one.
