Jyrwa has played his club football for Shillong Lajong, Mawkhar, Rangdajied United and, most recently, Mawlai. He has also represented Meghalaya.

Thangkhiew has also worn state colours as well as those of Lajong and Shillong United.

Jyrwa, a young attacking midfielder, had also shown enough promise to be selected by the Indian U-14 and U-16 national teams in the past, though injuries played a part in bringing this trajectory to a premature end.

At Bengaluru, he and Thangkhiew will be joining Kynsailang Khongsit, also a former Lajong footballer. Bengaluru United had, most recently, tried their hand in the I-League Qualifiers but had not manage to progress past the first round.
