Shillong, Nov 11: Group D of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division both saw 2-1 results today, for Nongumlong and Lumdiengjri.
In the first match at Polo Ground, Nongumlong’s Manush Lapang scored a brace (48′, 55′) before Bantei Lyngdoh pulled a goal back for Lapalang in the 63rd minute.
It was a similar case in the second fixture, where Gabriel D Lamare (32′) and Archie Nongbet (42′) gave Lumdiengjri a two-goal lead only for Krang to get one back through Kitkupar Mylliem (54′).
