Shillong, Mar 20: Alison Kharsyntiew has joined the Sports Authority of India as a coach/technical director.
He posted a few details along with some photos from Kerala on social media earlier today.
Kharsyntiew was most recently assistant manager of NorthEast United in the Indian Super League. He joined the Highlanders’ set-up in December 2020. The team reached the semifinals of the 2020-21 edition but were second from the bottom in 2021-22.
Before that, Kharsyntiew was most well known, locally at least, from his time at Shillong Lajong, where he has coached youth teams all the way up to the I-League outfit.
While with Lajong he passed the AFC A Licence course in 2019.
