Shillong, Apr 26: Nongkrem won their Group B match of the Shillong Sports Association’s Women’s League at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
Nongkrem pipped Nongthymmai 1-0 with the lone goal scored by Naisha Nongrum in the 40th minute.
Earlier, neither Mawlai nor Laitkor could find a breakthrough in the meeting of the Group A toppers and it ended 0-0.
