Shillong, May 6: Umsning SSCC defeated YBSC Shella 2-1 in the final of the Open to All Knockout Football Tournament 2022, which was organised by the Seng Samla Shnong Umsning Proper-A.
Yesterday’s final saw Nelson Rymbai score the opener for the Umsning team before Sheen Sohktung equalised for YBSC Shella.
However, a Brolington Warlarpih free-kick proved the decisive moment as he restored Umsning’s lead and they took the match 2-1.
As champions, the victors picked up a cheque of Rs 2 lakh.
