Shillong, Nov 18: The state government has invited applications from citizens of Meghalaya for the U Kiang Nangbah Award for Sports 2023.
The award is for excellence in sport and will be awarded during the Meghalaya Day celebrations on 21st January 2023.
2022’s recipient was footballer Halen Nongtdu.
Nominations should contain a brief biographical sketch and details of principal activities and attainments that justify the award.
Award guidelines and the application form can be collected from and submitted at the office of the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs, in Polo Ground, Shillong by 21st November 2022.
