Shillong, Dec 10: Nonglamin FC and the interestingly named God Like FC (pictured) won their respective quarterfinal matches of the 3rd Knock Out Football Tournament, organised by the St Joseph’s Secondary School in Nongtalang, today.
In the first match, Nonglamin defeated SSKPA FC 5-1.
The second contest was taken to a penalty shootout, where God Like FC came through 6-5 against Lia Tuphrang United FC.
Monday will see the third and fourth quarterfinals. At 11AM, Hap Airplane FC will take on Calm FC and, at 2PM, Nongtalang FC will go up against Nongmadan FC.
