Shillong, Jun 24: Shillong Lajong reserves won the third match of the Knockout Football Tournament organised by Ri Khasi SCSC yesterday by defeating Oste Phi Oiñ (B) 2-1 at Madan Kurkalang, Bhoirymbong.
Lajong were 2-0 up in the first half thanks to goals by Donboklang Lyngdoh (21′) and Batskhem Thangkhiew (36′).
M Lyngkhoi (61′) pulled one back for Oste Phi Oiñ in the second half but Lajong were able to hold on to their reduced lead from there until the final whistle.
The next match will take place tomorrow between Ehrngiew FC and Beneris FC at 2PM.
