Shillong, Jul 26: The State Level Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football Tournament 2023 began here on Monday at three venues – SAI Centre at NEHU, MFA Turf at Third Ground in Polo and Mawlai Madan Heh.
The semifinal fixtures were finalised today with the conclusion of the group stage matches and the semis will be held tomorrow (see below for the schedule).
The tournament will run until 28th July and is being organised by the Department of Sports & Youth Affairs. A total of 576 young footballers from different districts will compete in the U-17 boys’, U-17 girls’ and U-14 boys’ categories.
