Shillong, Aug 16: Diliengiem YSCWA pipped Lamlynti SC (Sohiong) 1-0 to earn their first victory of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2023 at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Wanlamjingjop Syiemlieh provided the only goal of the game in the 13th minute.
This was Diliengiem’s first goal of the season. They had previously drawn one match and lost one.
Lamlynti, meanwhile, have now lost all three of their matches.
The Fourth Division will now go on a break as the stadium will not be available for the next few days due to trials for the state’s junior football teams.
