Shillong, Oct 27: The third quarterfinal of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division saw Mawkriah West SC edge Mawkasiang SC 4-3 in a penalty shootout.
Normal time at First Ground, Polo, ended goalless, with Mawkriah West then winning the tiebreaker 4-3.
Mawkriah West thus join Iatyllilang SC and Kharang SC in the semifinals.
The last quarterfinal fixture will take place tomorrow at 2PM at the same venue between Madan SCC and Lamlynti FC of Madanlyngkhi. Madan SCC had finished at the top of Group A, while Lamlynti were Group C runners-up.
