Shillong, Nov 14: Meghalaya lost their second consecutive match in the Senior Women’s National Football Championship today, going down 2-0 to Gujarat in Sundargarh, Odisha.
The Meghalaya women had lost their opener to Odisha on Sunday.
Both goals today were scored in the first half, with Anjanaben Thakor (4′) providing the first and Shilpaben Devabhai Thakor (33′) the second.
Meghalaya will next face Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.
