Shillong, Feb 13: Sohtun of Thynroit won 4-2 on penalties against Umiew Maw-u-Sam SC in the 2nd Shortimai Knockout Football Tournament in Smit today.
The first round match saw a tough fight between the two sides, who both created chances without being able to score. After goalless regulation time, the match was decided by tiebreaker where Sohtun Thynroit won.
The next matches will be on 20th February between Combine Eleven of Smit versus YBSC Shella at 11AM, followed by Jongksha Boys against Synroplang of Laitkor at 2PM.
