Shillong, Feb 15: Mylliem SC and Mawkhar SC played out a 2-2 draw in the First Division of the Shillong Sports Association at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Mawkhar took the lead twice – through Rickyshan Warjri (18′) and Khrawpyrkhat Marwein (51′) – but each time saw Mylliem equalise, via Tirot Kharbangar (30′) and Freestar Kharbangar (67′).
This was only the second draw of the season and both times involved Mawkhar – they had drawn their opener against Lawsohtun SC 2-2 as well.
The win leaves Mylliem on 7 points from five matches, while Mawkhar have just 2 from five games. Relegation isn’t confirmed yet but Mawkhar really are on the brink now.
Tomorrow leaders Nongrim Hills SC will take on Lawsohtun at 2:45PM.
