Shillong, Mar 16: Nongdawah CC and Hurdles CC won their respective matches in the 3rd East Khasi Hills Cricket Association District League in Smit today.
Nongdawah defeated Smit CC by three wickets, while Hurdles were six-wicket victors against Lumpaia Avengers CC.
In the first match of the day, Smit won the toss but were kept down to 99/9 in their 20 overs after choosing to bat first. Elbrenroy Mawthoh was the top scorer with 28 from 20 deliveries, while Maialang War bagged 2/15 in 4 overs.

Later, Lumpaia Avengers also won the toss and batted first but were skittled in for just 73 as they were all out in 15 overs. Hurdles weren’t too troubled in the chase, reaching the target in only 12.2 overs. Ricky Stone Nongbet’s modest 16 was the top score, while Orlando Nongbri took 2/19 in 3.2 overs.
