Shillong, Mar 20: The full set of round robin fixtures of the Shillong Premier League 2023 were released by the Shillong Sports Association yesterday.
Previously, the SSA had only publicised the first 12 matches. There is no change to the first 12 – all the SSA has done is finalise the remaining 16. The league began on Monday and the next game will be held on Friday.
Pressed for time (read the reasons here), this season’s SPL will only be played over one leg. Semifinals and the final will then follow, most probably in May.
There will be two extremely busy weeks next month, with the week of 8th to 13th April seeing six matches flat out Monday to Saturday. The same will be the case between 22nd and 27th April.
