Shillong, Apr 7: The East Khasi Hills District Athletics Association will conduct its District Level Inter-School Athletics Meet 2024 from 24th to 26th April at the SAI Centure on the NEHU campus here.
The three-day event is open to male and female students in three categores – U-14, U-16 and U-18.
Entry forms with passport sized photograph should be submitted via mobile phone on 8974000664. The deadline for submission is 16th April.
Participants can choose from a variety of track events, including 60m, 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m and 600m races. Athletes are permitted to compete only within their respective age groups. There will also be a medley relay, featuring a 1,000m sprint divided among four runners, with each runner covering a specified distance.
All participating athletes must undergo an age screening test on 22nd April at the Mawlai Mawroh Indoor Community Hall commencing at 10AM. Original birth certificates must be presented during the screening.
