Shillong, Jul 26: Nongmensong SC were 3-1 winners over Lapalang SC in Group A of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2024 at First Ground, Polo here today.
Batskhem Jyrwa (9′) and Banhunlang Marbaniang (13′, 60′) scored for Nongmensong, with Sonjalen Haokip (78′) reducing the margin of defeat with one goal for Lapalang after that.
The next Third Division match will take place on 1st August between Iaityllilang SC and Umlyngka SC in Group B at 1PM at the same venue.
Tomorrow, the first two pre-quarterfinals of the Fourth Division will be held. In the first, at 1:30PM, Thynroit SC will face Umrynjah SC. The second, at 4PM, will be between Laitkroh SC and New Challenger SC. Both matches will be at First Ground.
