Shillong, Aug 6: Meghalaya started their Pool D campaign in the U-17 girls’ Subroto Cup 2024 with a mammoth 10-1 victory against the Indian Public Schools Conference in Gurgaon today.
Meghalaya is being represented at the prestigious schools’ tournament by Christian Higher Secondary School of Ri-Bhoi, which won the state-level Subroto Cup last month.
Pynibha Rangthaluh scored six goals and Daiamon Makhroh the other four.
Meghalaya will be back in action tomorrow against Maharashtra at 3:30PM at the same venue.
