Shillong, Aug 7: Meghalaya won their second consecutive match of the U-17 girls’ Subroto Cup 2024 with a 1-0 victory against Maharashtra in Pool D in Gurgaon today.
Susimery Lyngdoh Peinlang was the lone scorer.
Meghalaya is being represented at the prestigious schools’ tournament by Christian Higher Secondary School of Ri-Bhoi, which won the state-level Subroto Cup last month.
Meghalaya will be back in action tomorrow against Punjab at 5PM at the same venue.
