Shillong, Aug 12: Wanboklang L Nongbri broke the deadlock in stoppage time to seal a 1-0 victory for Umrynjah SC against Umiew Maw U Sam SC in the first semifinal of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2024 at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Wanboklang (70’+2) was the only player able to score in what was a very even contest between the two sides.
Umrynjah will now have to wait a week before learning who their opponents in the 24th August final will be.
The second semifinal will take place on 19th August between Madanrting SC and Madan SCC at 3:45PM at the same venue.
