Shillong, Aug 22: Chanjib Chetry scored four goals as Meghalaya steamrolled the International Schools Sports Organisation 7-0 in Group B in Bangalore today.
The other scorers for Meghalaya were Shanbok Basaiawmoit, Iaisynrop Syiemlieh and Banteilang Malieh.
Chanjib now has seven goals to his name after scoring three against Sri Lanka on Monday.
Meghalaya are being represented in the U-15 boys’ category by Nongjri Presbyterian Secondary School of Ri-Bhoi, which won the state-level Subroto Cup last month.
Meghalaya’s next match will be held tomorrow at 10:30AM against Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
