Shillong, Sep 2: Meghalaya will play Bihar in their first Group B match of the Sub-Junior Girls’ National Football Championship (Tier 1) in Malda, West Bengal today. Kick-off is slated for 9:30AM.
The Meghalaya sub-junior girls were semifinalists last year and were awarded joint bronze medals.
The other two teams in Group B are Gujarat and Karnataka.
Meghalaya will next play Karnataka on 4th September and Gujarat two days after that.
Kitbor Kharkongor is the coach of the Meghalaya team and the other two officials are Ibashisha Khongwet (manager) and Golden Jubilee Rymbai (physio).
