Sub-Junior Girls’ NFC 2024: Meghalaya lose to Karnataka

Shillong, Sep 4: Meghalaya lost their second match 6-1 to Karnataka in Group B of the Sub-Junior Girls’ National Football Championship (Tier 1) in Malda, West Bengal today.

Shirley N Marbaniang had put Meghalaya in front in the 11th minute but it went downhill from there with Karnataka producing half a dozen goals.

Meghalaya, bottom of the group with 0 points, lost to Bihar on Monday and will play their last match against Gujarat on Friday.
