Shillong, Sep 16: Friends United progressed to the next round of the 8th Invitation Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Wahiajer SC, with a 1-0 win over Monjurlang FC today.
The only goal of the match was scored by Evelmon Nongspung in the 42nd minute. Da-o Kharsati of Friends United was named Player of the Match.
The next fixture will be played on Saturday between Galaxy FC and 12 Daloi FC at 2:30PM.
