Shillong, Oct 8: A Janhameshwa Marngar hat-trick saw Mylliem SC romp to a 3-0 victory over Mawkhar SC in their first match of the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2024 at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Janhameshwa scored in the 39th, 60th and 85th minutes for a perfect start to the season.
Later, Malki SC also got off to a flying start with a 2-0 win over Lawsohtun SC.
Fashioning Syngkli (8′) found the opening goal early on and Malki had to wait until the end of the match before doubling the lead via an own goal (90’+5) in stoppage time.
