Shillong, Oct 12: Lumshnong YWSC and Dkhiah West SC reached the final of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Third Division 2024 by winning their respective semifinals at the Diengshynrum Artificial Turf in Khliehriat.
Lumshnong defeated Moopyniein SCSO 3-0 with Misting Lamin (36′), Skhemborlang Rupai (47′) and Amorous Lyngdoh (80′) scoring a goal each.
Later, Dkhiah West beat Tuber Kmaishnong CSC 1-0 in extra time with a 84th minute goal by Dawrupaia Tlang.
The final will take place on 16th October at 12PM.
This will be followed by the final of the Second Division at 2:30PM between Sutnga Mission SSCC and Musniang SC. They had won their semifinals last month.
