Shillong, Oct 19: Nangbah Mulang stormed to a 6-0 victory against Mawryngkneng Mission SC in the pre-quarterfinal of the 8th Invitation Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Wahiajer SC, today.
Niponghi Sumer (24′, 54′) and Banshan Pale (60′, 75′) scored a brace of goals each, while Civil Khongmalai (21′) and Suting Syrti (77′) produced one apiece.
Niponghi was named Player of the Match.
The next second round fixture will take place on 22nd October between YBSC Shella and Red Mark FC at 2PM.
