Shillong, Oct 20: Balasiewdor Pathaw finished first in the Open 10km category (15-24 years women) of the Delhi Half Marathon 2024 today.
Balasiewdor clocked a time of 42 minutes and 47 seconds, according to the event website.
Her time was 7 seconds faster than the second-placed finisher.
The runner is from Nongthliew and resides in Mawlai Nonglum while she pursues her bachelor’s degree from Shillong College. This was her first race outside Meghalaya.
Balasiewdor won bronze at the 1500m race at this year’s Meghalaya Games in Tura and was second in June’s Shillong 10K Run.
