Shillong, Oct 26: Mainu R Syngkli has been enjoying a string of successes in the boxing ring by finishing in podium places at recent events.
Most recently, she took silver in the Elite Women 75-81kg category at the REC Combined National Talent Hunt Boxing Programme 2024-25 in Haryana, which was held from the 6th to 22nd October.
Before that, she won gold in September’s REC talent hunt in Guwahati in the same category.
Mainu had also grabbed gold in the REC Eastern Talent Hunt Open Boxing Championship back in March. That was also in the same weight category.
