Shillong, Oct 29: Malki SC started the fourth round of the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2024 with a 1-0 victory over Nongrah SC at First Ground, Polo, here today.
The lone goal was scored by Niklestone Ryntathiang in the 60th minute.
Malki’s third win puts them on 9 points, two more than second-placed Mawtawar SC, who have a game in hand.
For Nongrah, they had started the season positively with a win but have now lost three on the trot.
The next First Division fixture will be held on Thursday between Mawkhar and Pohkseh at 2PM.
