Shillong, Dec 13: Thangskai Tigers SC qualified for the final of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Super Division 2024 by winning Qualifier 2 over defending champions Rymbai Shkenshynriah SC 2-1 in extra time in Khliehriat today.
Solomon Sympli (17′) scored first for the Tigers in the first half before R Shkenshynriah equalised through Fairdyson Bareh (69′).
Ninety minutes ended 1-1 and extra time was called for, with Longprem Dera scoring the winner for Thangskai in the 108th minute.
Thangskai will face Dhana CSC in the final on 19th December.
