Shillong, Feb 15: A century by Mrinal Das helped Langsning CC to victory by 124 runs against Donkin CC in Group A of the Shillong Cricket League Super Division 2024-25, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, here yesterday.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Langsning amassed 264/7 in 42 overs, with Mrinal striking 128 from 107 deliveries and Ibitlang Thabah contributing 44 from 39. Wallambok claimed 3/53 and Gavineal Marpna 2/42, both bowling 9 overs each.
In reply, Donkin only batted 26.2 overs before they were dismissed for 140. Wallam John L Kynshi top-scored with 33 from 32 balls, while Rohit Rai managed 24 from 18. Riboklang Hynniewta claimed 3/30 in 5.2 overs and Aaron Nongrum 2/33 in 7.
Mrinal was named Player of the Match.
The next match will take place on Sunday between NFU and Raj Bhavan in Group B from 8:30AM.
