Shillong, Jul 19: Shillong-based PFR Football Academy shone bright by winning the Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy Gold Cup U-15 Kalyani Youth Development League 2025 in West Bengal on Wednesday.
PFR won the final 1-0 against Kalyani Sarjombir Football Academy.
The team won four out of five preliminary group stage matches (drawing the other), which qualified them for the semifinals where they defeated Fashion Zone Football Academy 3-0.
PFR were led by head coach Nylla Mary Wahlang and assistant coach Jewelson Lyngdoh.
