Shillong, Sep 17: Laitkyrhong qualified for the semifinals of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2025 by defeating Tynring 3-0 in the second quarterfinal at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
A goalless first half was followed by a successful spell for Laitkyrhong, with Banshaibok Khongsngi (50′) and Learningstar warlarpih (62′, 78′) giving them the necessary goals to win.
Laitkyrhong were the top team of Group B, while Tynring qualified for the quarterfinals after finishing third in Group C.
