Shillong, Oct 7: Wahiajer Narpuh SSC defeated Rymbai Synrangshahkhain 3-2 on penalties to qualify for the final of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s First Division 2025 at the Diengshynrum Ground in Khliehriat today.
The match was goalless throughout, even into extra time, necessitating the need for a tiebreaker.
By reaching the final, which will be played against Byndihati CSC, Wahiajer Narpuh have also secured promotion to next season’s Super Division.
