Shillong, Oct 15: Pohkseh were leading 4-1 at 50 minutes in their Shillong Sports Association First Division 2025 match against Nongthymmai only for the latter to come back and draw the game 4-4 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
It was Nongthymmai who claimed the lead first, through Bankitlang Diengdoh (17′). Then followed four Pohkseh goals, three of which came in the first half – Reinjoywell Wartde (28′), Naresh Laitmon (33′), Mark Wanswet (45’+1). The other arrived early in the second half through Shiningstar Nongdhar (50′) to set Pohkseh up for a solid win.
However, it was not to be as Nongthymmai fought back through Mowell Chyne (68′), Daryll Diengdoh (83′) and Wanshwanaki Suphai (89′) to split points in a remarkable contest.
