Shillong, Oct 29: Aldo M Nongneng produced a hat-trick in Mawtawar’s extraordinary 7-2 victory over Ryntih in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Aldo scored in the 15th, 32nd and 63rd minutes. Fedrick Lyngdoh (5′, 56′) had opened the scoring for Mawtawar, while Donkupar Kharmyndai (48′, 59′) also picked up a brace of goals.
Ryntih’s scorers were Leversharp Syiemlieh (17′) and Shngainlang Sohbar (80′).
Mawtawar went from fifth to fourth position in the standings, dropping Mawkhar down one spot. Ryntih remain in the relegation zone in ninth place.
